La Marzocco Coffee Blind Tasting (2023)

Coffee blind tasting is a unique sensory experience that allows coffee enthusiasts, professionals, and connoisseurs to evaluate and appreciate the intricate flavors and aromas of coffee beans in an unbiased and controlled setting. This process involves sampling different coffee varieties while cleansing the palate between tastings, ensuring that each coffee is evaluated on its own merits, including its aroma, flavor, profile, acidity, body, and finish.

Asia Supply teamed up with La Marzocco to organize a coffee blind tasting event, employing Mintec mineral water filters, to investigate whether coffee's flavor is enhanced by mineral water. Attendees were given the opportunity to sample coffee prepared with both regular drinking water and mineral water. Majority of the participants expressed a preference for the coffee brewed using the Mintec mineral water filter, noting its superior aroma and more satisfying finish.
