2024 November CSR: Pre-Christmas Shopping at Fairprice Hub
As part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community, Asia Supply was delighted to organize a pre-Christmas shopping excursion to FairPrice Hub for the residents of NTUC Health Jurong West Nursing Home. This meaningful event aimed to bring joy and the festive spirit to the elderly, providing them with an opportunity to shop for their favorite items and enjoy the holiday season.
The excursion was designed to offer a memorable and enjoyable outing for the residents. FairPrice Hub, adorned with festive decorations, provided the perfect backdrop for the event. Residents were greeted with warm smiles and holiday cheer as they embarked on their shopping journey, accompanied by Asia Supply volunteers who offered assistance and companionship throughout the trip.
Residents had the chance to select treats, gifts, and daily essentials from the wide array of offerings at FairPrice Hub. The outing not only allowed them to shop for themselves but also pick up items for their loved ones, fostering a sense of independence and thoughtfulness. Volunteers ensured that every resident’s preferences and needs were met, creating a personalized and fulfilling experience.
To make the day even more special, the residents were treated to a sumptuous lunch at Uncle Leong’s Seafood Signature. Known for its delicious and iconic dishes, the restaurant provided a warm and inviting setting where residents could enjoy a hearty meal. The lunch featured some of Uncle Leong’s renowned specialties, adding a delightful culinary experience to the day’s activities.
The event also provided an opportunity for meaningful interactions between Asia Supply’s team and the residents.
